What size raft should I take down the Grand Canyon?

People have taken very small boats down the grand canyon, and the big motor rigs are huge.

You have to figure how many people per boat, and how much food will be needed for your itinerary.

Generally 16 to 18 foot boats are a good all-around size for the canyon.

How much of this stuff will we have

Size of boat
14' = 1 person + 1 oars person
16' = 2 people + 1 oars person
18' = 3 people + 1 oars person
