I’m still an old river rat, and I am proud to say the only Canyon trips I have done have been private. I am the co-founder of Canyon REO, along with my wife, Caroline. My passion is the river and helping private boaters have an experience of a lifetime on the Colorado.
Co-owner and Logistics Coordinator
I met Donnie as a customer on a commercial river trip in California. Awhile later, we went on our first Canyon trip as a couple and I was in love with Donnie and the Canyon. We got married, and moved to Flagstaff to start our family and Canyon REO. When I’m not busy here at work, Donnie and I are spending time with our amazing kids, Ben and Emily. In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, and traveling.
Warehouse and Retail Manager
It’s hard to believe that I’ve worked at Canyon REO for over 10 years! In that time I’ve worked in every department, but found my niche 8 years ago managing the Warehouse. My first Canyon trip was December 2008. When I get free time I enjoy getting out on the river (any river!), playing outside, and relaxing with my pup, Elden.

I have been involved with the food aspect of Colorado River trips since 2001 and embarked on my first Canyon trip in 2005. As a lifelong resident of Flagstaff, I have a deep affection for Northern Arizona’s majestic landscape. My husband, Justin, and I try to get out and hike and camp in this beautiful place as often as we can.
Marketing & Logistics
I’ve been part of the Canyon REO team for about 8 years. After years of fun in the Food Room, I moved into the office to work on Logistics and Marketing. I love helping people create their own personal Canyon experience and am always amazed at how no two trips are the same. When I’m not at REO, you will find me hiking the trails of Northern Arizona with my canine pals, Rocky and Daizy.
Warehouse & Head Rigger
Canyon REO has been my river family ever since I moved to Flagstaff in the 5th grade. Starting out in the Food Room, I worked my way into the Warehouse as Head Rigger while guiding commercial trips on rivers across the 4-corner states. While attending Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts I studied Studio Art and Geology and have combined these passions with rafting by creating artwork focused on the desert canyons of the Southwest.
I started working at REO in the Spring of 2015. Prior, I had been working as a conservationist throughout Arizona, including the Canyon, with CREC. The desert river systems hold a special place in my heart as an Arizona native and although I do not have an extensive river background, I look forward to floating my way down the Canyon soon!
I was born and raised in the beautiful Mountain town of Flagstaff and ran my first river before I could walk. There are few things in life that I find more soul satisfying than being on the water. I hope that my work in the food room will make your trip as enjoyable as possible. After a long day of rowing and rapids, a good meal is just about the best thing in the world.
Flagstaff has been my home for over 25 years. I love the mild climate, along with the peace and serenity that I have found here. Having worked in the retail food industry for 23 years, really makes me appreciate the close-knit, family atmosphere at Canyon REO. In my spare time, I like to travel with my wife, Robin, and hang out with our 2 dogs and 2 cats.
Driver & Head Rigger
I have worked in the Canyon and rivers of the southwest for most of my life. I was fortunate enough to be a commercial guide in the Canyon for many, many years. Now I split my time between running trips with Grand Canyon Monitoring and Research and driving shuttles for Canyon REO. Let’s take a drive and talk River!

I'm the guy that cleans all that dirty gear after takeouts. Originally from Tucson, I moved to Flagstaff several years ago. I'm currently at Northern Arizona University working on a degree in Environmental Studies. Fresh out of guide school I'm looking forward to getting out on as many rivers as I can. In my spare time I like anything in the outdoors.
